Automatic Shop Primer Spraybooths
After sandblasting process for materials like sheet metal, profile etc., reoxidation inevitably starts in 4 hours (max.) in a covered area. This fact requires materials to be coated with a shop-primer (rapid-drying base coat) at the soonest possible time after blasting. Our automatic coating units provide considerable time and consumable savings when compared with traditional manual applications.
The automatic units we produce consists of five main sections.
- Roller Conveyors
- Spraybooth
- Dust Collection & Filtration System
- Paint Kitchen
- PLC Automation
Besides, preheating, drying and horizontal transfer lines can also be integrated into the system.
ROLLER CONVEYORS
Spraybooth loading conveyor is installed to and driven by the exit roller of preceding automatic sandblasting unit. Unloading pallet conveyor has its own drive unit with frequency speed control.
SPRAYBOOTH
The booth contains spray nozzles with adjustment and linear movement gears, transfer drum, ventilation system and powder sedimentation basin.
DUST COLLECTION AND FILTRATION SYSTEM
Oversprayed heavy particles are collected in the sedimentation basin, while the lighter ones are captured by the paint-stop filters located on both inner sidewalls. The outer filter service gauge indicates current dirtiness level of the filters and gives idea for replacement time. In the filter unit, the cartridges are cleaned by sequential jet-pulse system. The exhaust emission value is lower than 8mg/m3, which is the legal standart.
PAINT KITCHEN
The system consists of; a coat preparation tank (200 L) made of AISI304 stainless steel with its pneumatic mixer, a pneumatic pump, a valve collector, pressured hose lines and airless nozzles.
PLC AUTOMATION
The sensors at the entrance, serve to detect height and width of the incoming material to be coated. The process automatically starts right after the material reached to the line the nozzles are positioned and stops as the material is conveyed away from the nozzles’ spraying range. The system reduces consumption for both; time and coating materials. Frequency controlled motors of the system (AC, SERVO, STEP etc.) enables adjusting the speeds for conveyors, nozzles and linear movement gears.
